I was watching the Today Show and Jeff Bridges was a guest along with his good friend Zen master Bernie Glassman. They have a new book out called “The Dude and the Zen Master” that I will definitely be reading. One of the analogies that they mentioned was going through life following the song “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”. The lyrics are:
Row, row your boat
Gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream
In other words, get out and row your boat (do something), do it “merrily” and “gently”. Live the life of your dreams.
Good stuff, huh?
