In Breast Cancer on October 20, 2013 at 8:19 am

Manhattan photographer, Angelo Merendino wife, Jennifer found out she had breast cancer and they decided to share their journey with us. The photographs range from playful to gripping. Jennifer lost the fight but in her memory these photographs continue to inspire and touch many women and men

. During a Huffpost Live interview Angelo was asked how Jennifer felt about allowing herself to be photographed he says,” Jennifer knew that before the photograph I was taking care of her.” You can see in these amazing pictures the love that he has for her and the love she has for the guy on the other side of the camera. Beautiful.

Visit the website The Battle We Didn’t Choose for more photos, their story and information on ordering the book.
